SUMMARY:Youth Writers Camp
DESCRIPTION:This year’s camp will offer a unique opportunity for students to explore monologues from August Wilson’s plays. Through this exploration\, students will examine Wilson’s work and use these monologues as a lens to analyze and interpret the author’s intended meaning. In addition to gaining a deeper understanding of Wilson’s plays\, students will also have the chance to develop and enhance their skills in literary analysis.By the end of the camp\, students will not only have a greater appreciation for the works of August Wilson\, but will also be empowered to approach literature with a critical eye and a deeper understanding of storytelling.
