The 14th Annual Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival returns home to Liberty Avenue with FREE concerts in honor of the 15th Anniversary of the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. Jazz in multiple genres, newly commissioned music, unique collaborations between artists, emerging artists alongside legendary music makers, hip jam sessions…it is an experience not to miss. Join us on The Jazz Train

For the second year, pianist Orrin Evans will host The Jazz Train™, an exciting ride and five days of music, fun, food and camaraderie at PIJF. Fans will be picked up at Amtrak stations in New York, Newark and Philadelphia and arrive in Pittsburgh in time to see the opening night concert. The Jazz Train™ departs Pittsburgh on September 23.
