Your Impact

The August Wilson African American Cultural Center (AWAACC) relies on its members annual contributions to support all areas of its general operations, including fine art, education, and community programs. Admission to the AWAACC is FREE and open to the public. The Center also offers FREE or deeply reduced ticket prices to special programs to the community. Your membership gift makes that possible and helps ensure that everyone has access to visual art and entertainment, and education experiences offered by the Center – FREE of charge, including the permanent exhibit dedicated to the life and work process of August Wilson, August Wilson: The Writer’s Landscape.

Access to member/sponsor lounge inside the AWAACC during the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival.

$500: PLAYWRIGHT MEMBERSHIP

Two (2) reserved seats close to the stage for outdoor performances at the Pittsburgh International Jazz Festival.
Invitation to special “Behind the Scenes” event during AWAACC programming season.

$1,000: LEGACY CIRCLE

Invitation to a private invitation-only performance with a featured artist in a unique offsite location
Lunch with the President; be our guest at a special lunch with the President & CEO of AWAACC, and get insider access to plans and vision for the Center

$10,000: NATIONAL TREASURE CIRCLE

Opportunity to sponsor a performance or education program during the season, name will be listed in all marketing materials produced for the selected performance or program after the gift is made.

Invitation to special dinner Party to be held at a private residence (Date to be determined).
