Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC)
The August Wilson African American Cultural Center is Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) approved for 2021! Join us as we endeavor to be a cultural and educational leader in the community. With your company’s support, the AWAACC can provide an annual art-based education to thousands of our region’s schoolchildren.
The AWAACC invites your company to become an EITC Partner.
Children who are exposed to art and who have been provided the opportunity to learn about identity through art, have increased confidence and self-awareness. The AWAACC is committed to serving its community with this same level of artistic excellence that we provide on our stages and in our galleries. The AWAACC is constantly seeking ways to play an active role in addressing and helping resolve the many challenges facing the city and its diverse communities.
The AWAACC is committed to be a cultural leader within the community and in the classroom, and with support provided by the Educational Improvement Tax Credit (EITC) program, it can provide art based, educational programs to thousands of school students annually.
