We are thrilled to invite you to an engaging and inspiring Hip Hop Art Camp series led by instructor Keah Adams at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center. In two sessions, children will embark on a creative journey exploring the ways Hip Hop and Art collide when artists invent and create aliases (nicknames) and personas to express themselves. The students will then discover their own unique identities through artistic expression, while inventing cool names that tell their story!

This camp is designed for middle and high school students and will be held in-person. All campers will receive a swag bag.

Keah Adams is a self taught artist and creative from Pittsburgh and the founder of art and decor Company Art By Venus Studio. In addition to working with creative organizations in the city, Keah works on the AWAACC team as a community engagement coordinator and enjoys working with local youth and teaching the importance of art and creativity.
