Pittsburgh Performs: A Hip Hop 250, Downtown

As we mark the US Semiquincentennial, Chamber Music Pittsburgh and the August Wilson African American Cultural Center honor the groundbreaking art forms and original voices that have helped shape American music and culture. Guardians of Sound’s Hip Hop Orchestra, a nonprofit creative ensemble that merges traditional hip-hop beats with acoustic orchestral instruments, joins singer-songwriter-producer INEZ, proud Homewood resident, Pittsburgh native, and musical powerhouse, in an electrifying program that explores what America 250 means to we, all the people.
